I would love a copy if someone has one to sell for a reasonable price.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05649523779226834414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341941751324943000.post-72452719262833428872021-03-31T15:16:05.598+01:002021-03-31T15:16:05.598+01:00Kevin,have you thought of buying the Sluice and Sh...Kevin,have you thought of buying the Sluice and Ships by Namick Salakhov? _LisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341941751324943000.post-45933775391198189412014-09-17T13:53:37.259+01:002014-09-17T13:53:37.259+01:00Thanks for the very interesting reply Scott. I saw him a lot at IPP32 because he joined us on the pre-IPP and post-IPP trips. Brian Pletcher caught this picture of him playing (with a puzzle of course) at IPP31 in Berlin...

http://mechanical-puzzles.blogspot.com/2011/08/berlin-puzzle-party.html

As I recall, he uses a Roland iModela to mill all his puzzles from blocks of vinyl foam. The iModela has a very limited vertical height, something like 15mm, so he's obliged to make his puzzles in layers. Hence, Namick Salakhov's puzzles are clearly distinguishible by a unique combination of materials, construction, and meticulous workmanship.Scott Elliotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04412998136313650302noreply@blogger.com
