I am not good at solving them and tend to entangle them a bit more in the process -- unless it is a variant of the left-right-chinese rings or the Gordian's knot, or other puzzles from http://puzzles.schwandtner.info/compendium/puzzles.html <br />However, it seems that someone made the left-right-chinese rings above more complicated by adding those additional pieces.
